I use the Performer manifold & Q-jet carb. but unless you can o-haul & fine tune the Q-jet yourself you are better off with a Performer carb. they work good right out of the box & are easy to fine tune. Kits are available to hook up the cable. The cable must be right for the trans. to work right & last. They say money can't buy happiness. It can buy old Chevy trucks though.
