216's and later model 235's have different diameter camshaft bearings. The quick way to tell the difference is to measure the bearing journals. Here's some specifications:

216:
#1 2.0282-2.0292
#2 1.9657-1.9667
#3 1.9032-1.9042
#4 1.8407-1.8417

235: (1955-62)
#1 2.1537-2.1547
#2 2.0912-2.0922
#3 2.0287-2.0297
#4 1.9662-1.9672

It's possible to machine the large journal cam down to fit the 216 and early 235 blocks- - - -I've done it. One of the 216's I'm building right now is getting a Melling solid lifter cam that has just a little more radical timing and lift than the "Corvette 235" cam.

If the duration on that cam card is "actual" instead of "at .050" lift", that's a very mild cam, probably a duplicate of an original equipment part. Hotrod cams don't start getting into idle lope, low manifold vacuum, and low end torque loss until the duration gets up around 270 degrees or so.
