I have a '51 GMC Panel that I am considering this idea for. i already have an S-10 rolling chassis (reg cab, long box) and am picking up the 4WD rear end for $100 shortly.

For the brackets I made my own. I didn't think the AD engineering kit was worth it. It wasn't to difficult. Pointers I am not sure. Hopefully some one can give you a hand . I had to set it up and do everything by myself. It was darn tough. Make sure you get it lined up correctly in the wheel wells. On mine the rear wheels sit a little to far back in the fenders. I didn't have any wheels on it when I lined it up for a look. By the time I realized what I did it was all welded and painted. I know a lot of people are using different radiators also. I used the radiator for the ad truck. You just have to kick the bottom of the radiator out to clear the steering box. Let me know if you might need some specific pics I will try to get them for you.
