| | | | Joined: Aug 2005 Posts: 58 Wrench Fetcher | | Wrench Fetcher Joined: Aug 2005 Posts: 58 | I am installing a 400 small block in my 66 half ton. It used to be a 283. One problem though. On the 283 there was a place for a ball stud to screw into the engine. The clutch linkage mounts off of it. On the 400 engine there is no such fitting. Does someone make a bracket that would bolt to the bellhousing to overcome this problem ? I know I am not the first guy to face this problem ?
