| Cruising in the Passing Lane Joined: Mar 2001 Posts: 77 | yep your clutch is not fully releasing pressureplate could be warped and draging the cluch disc or binding on the inputshaft splines or pilot bearing and causing the gears to roll now if you can get it into 2nd without grinding it may be better to put it into 2nd that will stop all the gear roll then put it into 1st or reverse now the big trucks have a clutch brake and that stops the inputshaft rotation so you can get them into gear
