Your right on spot with the HiPo forum. I'm doing many of the same things to my 59' , 10 bolt flipped to the top of the springs, 327 with a 4 speed, I did stay with a straight axle up front and even it's dropped 4"s.
This is supposed to be the place for "Us" to share ideas that don't seem to fit anywhere else, I think your doing just fine by the way.
