Long story, but got it sorted.
Truck ran fine before. I put the new pump on and started the truck. Float bowl was full. Should’ve been lots of time to get fuel up top. Truck ran until float bowl was empty and died. Thought that was weird so I cracked the fuel line on the inlet inlet side of the pump fuel leaked instantly. I cracked the line on the outlet side of the pump it was dry. Nothing. I filled up the float bowl again and started the truck left the line off the pump nothings coming out. I removed the pump and took it to the bench I rigged up a small line and bottle of gas to the inlet side and hand pumped the cam arm. Nothing. The old pump would squirt fuel 2’. I took the new pump apart to have a look and see if I could figure out what was wrong. Not seeing anything obvious but I noticed the diaphragm looked an awful lot like the one from my original pump. I decided to put the new diaphragm and spring into the old pump. Works perfect LOL
Old pump was leaking fuel past the diaphragm and out the weep hole. Alls well that ends well.
