I have done this on my 51, 3100. I have a 5.3 LS and a 6L80E transmission. There are no interference issues with the transmission, M/C and booster, although there is not a lot of real estate for the exhaust. The exhaust runs pretty close to the inboard side of the M/C. I’d attach some pictures but I’ve disassembled the truck as it heads to the body shop next month.
My truck has not been driven yet, so I can’t give any feedback on operation.
