My name is Bill. I'mI just bought a 1958 Chevy Apache 3800. It has a dual rear end, hi/low gearing. Inline 6 with 4bbl water cooled holley.
Just wondering if the 3800 was typically a one ton and how to tell. The guy I bought it from said the rear end is heavier than stock because of the dump.
I also want to know if the body parts are the same as the half ton versions or different. Essentially any important differences would be appreciated.
