My 1950 4100 fire truck has been on lock-down for an extra 5 months this year in a warehouse. It was running when I parked it in September, but this week I went to get it out of there, but, it was crank, crank, crank, don't burn the starter up. Trip home for tools, and no flash from my timing light while cranking. Focused on the near new Bluepoint points, and nothing was making sense. Changed points, and it fired right up. Long story short the pivot on the points was seizing up, which wouldn't allow the points to tightly close. Weird, and then I had to deal with my clutch disc stuck to the flywheel. Need to drive it more I guess.
