We modify or replace dashes all the time. It's an easy mod and been doing some of all brands to make the GPS speedometers look factory installed (no longer use cable or electric speedos). Range from mild like a "Frenched" modern radio into an AD pickup:

To wild like a complete hand formed dash in a 39 Ford with under dash a/c up in the dash:
