And yes there is a spring with a nut and 2 different washers on that spring assembly ALSO the nut has a lock plate above nut and 2 tabs bent over flats on the nut to keep nut from turning when you dont want it too.Tabs need straitened before nut will turn would be helpful to take picture of location of spring and washers before dissamble . you tube has some helpful videos good luck | | |
