Where did you get the GM 3701562 part number that checks out as '54 261?
What's the number pressed into the flange on your pump?

That is the number on the pump I pulled out of the engine. Which is why I'm double checking.
I only found one thread on VCCA w the part number and "261" ...so "checks out" was prob the wrong wording to use. lol.
