| Crusing in the Passing Lane Joined: Jun 2011 Posts: 5,096 | GM Saginaw steering boxes come in fore and aft movement and crosswise movement, so, start with what movement you have and look for the appropriate box. Boxes can be converted by filing out the skip spline on the pitman arm with a 3 corner file. Outside the frame gives more engine/header room, might have to make up new tie rods, drag link, etc.
