Phillip Lott 'Bolter P Joined: Nov 2015 Posts: 28 MS	One could get a V8 in a GMC in the 50's. It was a Pontiac V8. They didn't use Chevrolet engines. In the early years(36-37) it was an Oldsmobile and then they used Pontiac. Later the made there own in line 6
