I'm looking to put my 49 2-ton AD truck on a 4x4 frame. I thought there might be some benefit to the larger fenders, as I could put bigger wheels on without having to lift the truck so high.
After looking at pictures, though, it's hard to tell any difference in the dimensions of the big-bolt truck front clip compared to the standard pickup front clip,,, other than the larger openings that is.
Can anyone point out the differences between the two? Is the track-width of the big bolt larger than that of the standard pickup? If so, what is it? Is the front clip of the big bolt any longer??
