I'm puzzled by the following order of events from the shop manual.

1. Remove engine, clutch and transmission as a unit.
2. Mount engine in the stand.
3. Remove transmission.

What kind of stand did they use to hold the engine with clutch and transmission still attached. Was it some kind of cradle? Am I missing something?
