WOW! good to know. I worked as a gunsmith in collage and the old guy smith told me to never use WD-40 on anything especially in a gun. Under even mild heat it will crystalize and cause not only major jamming and pitting. That was in 1973. I made sure I rinsed out the Kroil oil with 90% ethyl alcohol and dried with canned air. I have copied all your advice and found a 1954 headlight switch. Can't wait to get started on it in the shop using your fantastic advice. Thank you.
