| Crusing in the Passing Lane Joined: Jun 2011 Posts: 5,096 | Putting Coca Cola or molasses in the cylinders will remove rust, but it is a slow process. Probably would be best to remove all oil with alcohol first. Of course that would work if the problem is rust, not mechanical lock.
