Not sure what you are saying JR. Who said they are the wrong size? What size are they? If you are talking about the lines you got from inline tube, they would be the right size. Who are you ordering hoses from? Inline tube?
If you are needing hoses, buy hoses that fit your fittings. You will be OK.
The two common sizes of brake line are 3/16 and 1/4. It makes no difference which of those sizes you use.

Here is a comment from inline tube regarding general convention. "Disc brake cars use 3/16” tubing and drum brake cars use ¼” tubing."

So they either will go with OEM size or this convention, I assume.
