Sean, all the drag tracks are at least 100 miles away or so, although they are 'sposed to open one in Little Rock. Lots of roundy round tracks tho-I can hear one on Fri nite-just about 10 miles away from me I guess. My buddy ran the Iron Eagles on a sb400 in a 69 C10-very good on the street & track both right outta the box. He got down to consistent low 12's last year, full steel truck w/A/C & power steering. He added nitrous & lost time due to spinning-no more room for bigger slicks w/o tub work.
This is the only pic I can find, the white 69 in the background behind old black truck. He frame off restored it then decided to race. Not bad $$ for complete ready to go heads. Good to hear others also have their projects on hold also-may keep me from giving up on mine-I got 2 kids that take all my time & $$$ so my project is stalled. Brian
