I agree that my chassis and wheels are too big for what I want. As I said in my original post I have a bare 3/4 ton chassis that I will put a rear and front end under. I am wanting to use chev 6 stud wheels. I will use the sheet metal from my truck and the timber from my tray to make a new tray. The timber on my tray is an Australian species called narrow leaf iron bark that was cut from the old family farm.
