"This would allow folks to click on the link to see the bigger one, if they wanted to look at it more closely, but in the forum, the smaller picture loads faster and (here it comes)
is better on our bandwidth."
"If you put them 'inline', meaning they're displayed directly in the post, then every viewer has to see them every time they go to that thread.
Our server is made busier than necessary"
Misinformation.
Now, on to will I comply with the rules moving forward?
The reason I do it this way is I am lazy

after busting my but on the truck at night, I want people to see the pics, so I start off by putting them on say LS1tech where they let you display your hosted images. Then I copy and paste them on the next site that might have interest in them. I do that on 3-4 sites. (LS1tech.com / Performancetrucks.net / stovebolt.com / 831ccr.com) It makes my life a little easier.
If you don’t want my pics great, one less site for me t copy and paste at.
Again, there is more bandwidth used on the bolt in this argueement than the 437 characters in the first post, 454 characters in the second post and 390 in the last one and for the redirects put together.
Again the only issue I see is dial up users. There really isn't a bandwidth loss hosting pics this way. I came up with a solution of adding "not dial up friendly" in the title.
Now, let’s stop the argueement here and let an owner of the site tell us what they would like to happen. If they don't want me and my pics here then fine, others can come see them on the other sites mentioned.
I am not posting any more pics till they come by here. Which is kind of too bad as I just lifted the bed off the truck last night and started fabing up the fuel cell brackets and was going to show you that.
I also am not adding any more fuel to this argueement.
