| Crusing in the Passing Lane Joined: Jun 2011 Posts: 5,096 | If one tries to downshift, need to slow down so the faster engine RPM can catch up to and move the two speed into low, otherwise just grinds like you mentioned, takes a while to get used to slowing down, don't need to plan to slow down if on hill already slowing down, for example.
