| | | | Joined: Apr 2005 Posts: 2,832 'Bolter | | 'Bolter Joined: Apr 2005 Posts: 2,832 | With a 292 any transmission from a 63 or newer 4cyl, 6cyl, and small and big block V8 will bolt up. The exception is the auto transmissions or standard bell housing from the 60 degree V6. The S10 trans will work as will other T5 overdrive trans but you will need to check shifter location if you are still using the 39 bench seat. This is not a project that will make a dollar watching wife happy.
