Thanks. While I wait to see if my friend wants to move forward, I'm now considering replacing my own 3.55 gears for mine have been recently found shredding some metal which is ending up in the oil. Got 13,000 miles on them and think it's probably best to simply replace the gears as well as both pinion bearings, etc. If there is a parts kit that you recommend, I'd be interested.
