Well, I have finally gotten around to the project of replacing the cracked windshield on my old 49 Chevy. It looks as if the last person that installed a windshield on this truck applied too much pressure in the center when re-attaching the outside visor to the center trim and it cracked both pieces of glass. I have new glass and new rubber to go in. I've watched tons of YouTube videos and I'm hopeful I can do this without too much difficulty. I have my rope, my ballend tool, and sealant. I've got the old windshield out and prepped the metal on the truck with rust prohibitor. Hopefully, all goes well. Wish me luck.
