My wife saw this on FaceBook and told me about it this morning. I was actually going onto the Stovebolt to post it and I see that you are already on top of it.
I just took mine back to the store and they gave me a gift card that I used to purchase another "New" 6-Ton set online. Hopefully these new ones will not be recalled. They did not have any jack stands my HF store.
Due to the safety issues involved, I cannot see where they would have any issues returning them and crediting you as long as you can prove that the stands are the ones listed in the recall.
