Like the title says, I'm picking up a 67-72 2 wheel drive half ton truck and the RF just has a spindle. The truck is 200 miles away from me and 80 miles from anything that resembles a parts store. No hub/rotor or whatever the correct term is for drum brakes. My local parts store was no help. Also where the truck is located there is a 67-72 3/4 ton 2 wheel drive truck I can pull parts off of.
Quickest, easiest thing I think would be the hub/rotor off of the 3/4 to make it roll on the trailer. Does anyone know if the bearings etc will fit to put a tire on to roll on the trailer?
Next best plan is if anyone knows of another junkyard hub/rotor that will fit to roll it?
Last not so good plan is skid it on the trailer as is with wood or old tires under it.
Any other ideas to help get it to the house?
I tried to do pics but no luck for me.
