I purchased the LMC polyvinyl floor mat for a 1958 Chevy 32 w/high hump transmission cover. I was impressed with the material and the quality. They fold the mat like a blanket into squares for shipping and there are some heavy creases that didn't come out after unfolded for 48 hours at 72 degrees as instructed. I placed a towel over the creases and used a household steam iron and the creases came out easily. I'd use much caution if you did this.
"Some trimming may be necessary" is quite an understatement. It is molded pretty well to the hump and the seat mounting area, but all borders must be trimmed. All holes in the mat for pedals, shifter and all mounting bolts for seat and gas tank must be cut. I spent a good 10 hours on all of this.
I very much recommend the mat, just be ready for the effort.
