Before i did anything i pulled the valve cover and cranked by hand to ensure the valves moved freely, it turned over quite easily. i will check bent push rods, but wouldn't that shorten the opening of the valve, rather than affect the closing? Or am i checking bent rods to see if they may have been caused by a stuck valve?
