All those columns are the same from the corvette to pickups in that they are all a 2" (I think) tube. My electric power steering kit is made for a corvette and is the same kit as the 53 3100. I'm not an expert on these trucks, I build factories so I'm just going from my personal experience.
Old enough to know better, too young to resist.
