| | | | Joined: Jan 2002 Posts: 2,839 'Bolter | | 'Bolter Joined: Jan 2002 Posts: 2,839 | If you are replacing both tank and sending unit, I would seriously consider putting in exactly 1/4 tank of fuel, then the sending unit and see if your gauge reads 1/4 tank full. If not, remove unit and tweak the pivot arm of the unit. Be sure to pre test the float to ensure it doesn't have a leak.
