hello,so ive posted about my engine before,just bought this truck a few weeks ago(1946 gmc 1/2 ton) with what I was told was a 228 engine but thinking its a 236 by the number stamped behind the distributor
anyway my question is are the distributors all the same ?,I decided to check out the timing and found the vacumn advance must be no good,i put a manual vacumn pump on it and can not get it to move
