looking for a good number for 1955 chevy 3100 rear axle flange gaskets since there no good parts guys anymore !!!!!!
Some confusion going on I believe. 3100 should be 1/2 ton semi floating axle. Most 3/4 ton & larger use a full floating axle shaft that has a gasket between its flange and the bearing hub it is bolted to.
What you are calling rear axle flange, could you mean rear axle cover, round on center rear of housing?
