| | | | Joined: Apr 2017 Posts: 230 'Bolter | | 'Bolter Joined: Apr 2017 Posts: 230 | The front engine mount of a1940 Chevy 1/2 ton has a number of metal pieces one of which has a slight curb on the long edge. Does this curb go up or down and does it face the front and back?
How tight should you tighten the bolts?
On the rear mount, two bolts attach the mount to the bell housing while one attaches to the frame. Are there any washers or metal plates places between the bolts/nuts and the rubber mount to support them?
What is the size of the bolt that secures the mount to the frame?
How tight should you tighten the bolts?
