Great video. I am a fairly new welder and that has been my biggest fear. Getting an accurate cutout of the patch I am trying to install.
The other way to do it is scribe the outline, trim a little big, fit, trim, fit, trim, etc. Doing it that way, you can get a near zero gap. But it's a tedious process.
