Yes Mike, I'm referring to medium and heavy when describing the saddle/step tanks. Even into the mid 1990's we were using some gas engines in medium duty for city delivery (beer)with exposed tanks but were switching over to diesel for the most part. I'm not saying that the pickup truck tanks can compare to the commercial truck tanks, I'm just generalizing about the placement and relative few fires in vehicle accidents.
