Many TF trucks did not have inside rear view mirror from factory, my 57 included. I will be installing one in the near future, and thankfully, I previously acquired a copy of the Accessories Installation Manual (covers accessories for both cars and trucks). It details installation of 'Inside Rear View Mirror Bracket Installation Instructions'.
My Accessories manual is for 1957 but I am quite sure it would work for your 1959. I have found this manual very handy to have around the garage. Used it extensively to rebuild and install Deluxe Heater (fresh air).
