the engine can only use so much air when you install twice the intake area the flow thru each will decrease so you will have to jet and rejet to get correct,also the power system will be over rich and activate sooner than with one carb,on timing,, vacum that each will pull will be less so some playing there..Baldy is most likly correct on your problem...doc
