| | | | Joined: May 2019 Posts: 3 'Bolter | | 'Bolter Joined: May 2019 Posts: 3 | I am looking to install a t5 into a 28 Chev (4 cylinder) RP project. There is a fellow in CA who has done a few and looks like an excellent conversion. Everyone he has done one for says it makes a huge difference in the drive ability of their cars.
I have access to a 93 s10 2 wheel drive with a 4.3. The owner says the trans has been replaced with an over the counter one from a parts house. Engine has 500K and the trans has about 70K. He says it is a mechanical speedometer since it has a needle instead of a digital display. Can someone with more knowledge step in please? I looked at the links but am still confused about which is correct. Thanks Art | | | |
