I have cleaned and coated original tanks twice. The last tank was my 1965 C10 tank. I used the KBS tank cleaning and coating system and the whole process went very well. I’m very pleased and have had no problems. It takes time and you will use acid and chemicals. A new tank is not a bad deal and saves time. Depends on your skill set, available time and budget.
