Yeagh, I see we think alike on this subject. I don't know that a 283 will scoot me down the freeway in this mess we call I-5.lol Probably it's the best thing to do for many reasons. My 69 Camaro came from GM with a 307. The first thing I did was build up a 327 with aftermarket heads, crank, etc and add a shift kit and posi. I suppose I can live with 1 toy that goes fast. I am excited to go pick it up tomorrow! I will post the vin and take more pics and try to decipher what engine is in it etc. I think I'm going to enjoy working on this old bolt!
