I might be a little bias because I live in the Western US, I am use to traveling on roads connecting areas that are in many cases 100 mile plus apart.there usually was a service Sign on #95 Nevada/Idaho.. Next Service 98 miles.. Wm.
Not sure how a 292 is going to help on the distance between gas stations over a 270.
Some of us like old stuff, some of us also live out west & some of us also take long road trips in remote areas with old design engines.
