Your second link mentions the color as Seacrest green, not Forester green.
I am getting slower and dimmer as I enter old age.

1949 Salesman Truck Data Book shows Seacrest Green (but, not Forester Green)
My guess is that Secrest Green was the 1949 Truck color name?
There might be more 1949 Chevrolet Color sheets here?
