I have a 1956 3200. My door code shows 234N 735.
My interior is has been repainted in the past and is in need of refinishing.
I dont know what the original paint colors or layout were but I think it was White and Black.
The top of dash, window frames, steering column. parking brake handle, footwells are ALL BLACK.
The rest of the dash, cab, roof and walls, and rear wall and doors and the door jambs are all WHITE.
My truck has a single sunvisor and I removed it and under the triangular mount it is painted light gray. That is the only place I see gray. Is this possibly a primer?
Anyone have any idea if the Black and White scheme is original to my truck, if not what might it be?
I have searched and searched and looked at all kinds of pictures but can not get any definitive answers
I had replaced the gas tank and it was completely white, As far as anything is painted under the dash and up into the corners it is all white. Even under the original crumbling door rubber seals it is white. The air vents on the side when removed there is some gray on the areas that are not seen when it is assembled but that is it. My gut thinks the gray is primer or they are all painted gray and if it was optional it was sprayed the color as the truck was assembled??? I have no idea....
