I got my kit thru speedway it was the cheapest. Maybe $225-250
They (Vendors) sell m/c for under floorboard mounting. And yes a proportioning valve is necessary. I believe you can also still get a six lug brake kit. Mine is the Chevy 5 lug on 4.75 bolt pattern. So your wheel setup might be an issue. But stopping is the most important part......upgrade! But some of it depends if you’re going to update the wheels.
