Built a much warmed over 472(.030 over 460) Falcon for a customer and the rules he brought to me, since I'm not a drag racer, went strictly by speed, not e.t. I guess they don't care if you turn a 4 flat if your only doing 50mph(impossible). Anyway, it required a roll bar at say 100mph, a 4 point at 110, 6 point at 120, and anything over 125 was a 10 point cage. These figures are probably way off since it's been years but the idea is speed is what causes bad things to happen in a hurry when things go wrong. If you can get a test run in, knowing you will improve, it will let you know what you will need and you can shop around from there. There are several circle track car builders in this area and most likely in every part of the country that could do the job if no ready made kit is available. I had one of them build a 10 point cage for the Falcon and they did a good job especially considering the close space between the steering wheel and windshield post on these cars.
