Use a plain rubber grommet, then pack the voids between the various sized wires and whatnot with non-hardeneing windshield sealant. It is black and is easy to work into place without making a big mess. It is more like a putty rather than sealant. You should be able to talk a glass shop guy into giving you a big enough dab of it to fill that gap.
