I'm not sure what you are looking for, but this may help you. The Corvair used the same basic distributor as the 250/292. The housing is the same casting, but the bottom is machined a little different and has only one bushing. Your 292 has two bushings and a much shorter shaft and different gear than the Corvair. Cap, rotor, points, point plate are all the same.
Clark's Corvair in Mass has a large assortment of springs, weights and cams for different years and applications.

This chart shows the mechanical as well as vacuum specs. Find something you like and match up the pieces. The 140 HP has the most performance curve of the lot. 18@2800, starting at 800.
